Which Oral Sedation Medication is Right for You?

There are many types of anesthesia available at this office:

Local anesthesia is the standard method used in most dental offices.

Nitrous oxide “Laughing Gas” helps to relax many, is reduces pain some too.

Intermuscular injection of medications “IM Sedation” usually includes a narcotic with a tranquilizer- Nitrous oxide is also included with this method. Some patients will forget they had the procedure with this method.

Intravenous sedation “IV sedation” works the best. Your depth of anesthesia can be adjusted with this method depending on your tolerance. Most people don’t remember any of their procedure with this method.
